MMR CYCLIST MEET-UP 2023 HELD IN THANE
A meet-up of Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR cyclist) that includes the cities of Mumbai, Thane, Mira-Bhayandar and Panvel was held on the 19th of November at Thane city. Over 200 cyclists participated in the ride and meet-up programme.

INTERNATIONAL CARGO BIKE FESTIVAL BETTER THAN EVER
On Friday 24th November, the doors of RAI Amsterdam will open at 10am for the International Cargo Bike Festival (ICBF) and Fully Charged LIVE Europe. This year’s ICBF will showcase over 60 pedal-powered brands from around the world, with a test track and an international speaking programme. And the ICBF will launch Carrier – its new cargo bike magazine.

CYCLING IN AHMEDABAD
My quest for travel has just begun and this year I had set a target to visit one international destination and two Indian cities. Everything worked as planned and I travelled to the Netherlands in June, Hyderabad city to see the solar roof cycling track in September. And finally, I visited Ahmedabad in October specifically to see Mahatma Gandhi’s Bicycle. Have you seen it?

JIO MUMBAI CYCLOTHON 2023 PRESS CONFERENCE AND JERSEY LAUNCH
Cyclothon and critical mass events are a great way of nurturing a cycling eco-system. Gear up for the second season of Mumbai’s most awaited cycling event ‘Jio Sustainibility Cyclothon’ which will be held on 17th December 2023. Champ Endurance, the organizers have released its new and refreshing Jersey at a press conference meet held on 27th October 2023 at the Radio Presidency Club, Colaba.

BUDDHA UNCLE IS CYCLING ALL INDIA TO SAVE ENVIRONMENT
47-year-old Omesh Bhagat aka Buddha Uncle is on a all India cycling tour with a message to save the environment. He started his journey on 5th May 2023 from Faridabad and has pedaled 13000 kms so far. He plans to cover the whole of south India before moving back to the Northern region where he belongs.

INDIA’S 1ST SOLAR ROOF CYCLE TRACK IN HYDERABAD
India’s first 23 km long Solar Roof Cycle Track is built in Hyderabad, ready to be launched on 1st October 2023, and boasts of several amenities for safety of cyclists while promoting eco-friendly development.
