There might not be opulent fireworks of innovation, but progressing, continuous development and improvement of the bicycle technology. Especially if one doesn’t give in to breathless excitement but instead, attentively takes a closer look, there are a lot of promising innovations and trends that were observed during the Eurobike trade fair days from July 3 to 7, 2024 in Frankfurt.
Hundreds of cyclists took over the streets of Frankfurt riding on the beats of the famous bike DJ Dom Whiting from the UK as a prelude to the Euro Bike Show main event. Onlookers cheer for the participants from their balconies and joined the celebratory ride.
For an average cycling blogger from India to reach the global stage of the Euro Bike Show was a dream. Gladly, this dream was realized in July 2024 with careful planning and support of family and friends. Thanks to everyone who helped me make it possible.

India Book of Records 2024: Maximum bells installed on a bicycle.
The record for installing the maximum number of bells on a bicycle was set by Vijay Ramesh Malhotra (born on September 24, 1982) of Mumbai, Maharashtra. He installed 101 bicycle bells on the handlebar, front and rear pannier racks of a bicycle (model TREK FX 3) to promote road safety by catching the attention of motorists, as confirmed on May 21, 2024.

Currently, I am leading theNetherlands-Europe-India Urban Mobility Exchange (euindiamobility.com), I bridge the gap between corporate strategy, government policy, and citizen engagement. My work is centered on the NL-EU-India Urban Mobility collaboration, where I facilitate knowledge exchange between European transit models and Indian urban environments to create smarter, more inclusive cities.
