The 5th National Bicycle Logistics Conference will take place on September 18, 2024 as part of the IAA TRANSPORTATION at the Hannover Messe. This collaboration stems from the common goal of strengthening the bicycle logistics industry.
In addition to the IAA TRANSPORTATION, the city of Hanover is the main partner of the conference.
Jürgen Mindel, Managing Director of the Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), organizer of the IAA TRANSPORTATION, is pleased about the cooperation: “The partnership between the IAA TRANSPORTATION and the Bicycle Logistics Conference is an important signal for the future of climate-friendly transport and the logistics sector. Under the motto “How can we grow together?” the conference will examine key issues that will shape the future of bicycle logistics, in particular the question of how the industry can be strengthened and expanded internationally. Topics to be discussed include the competitiveness of bicycle logistics, personnel issues, innovations and the vision of bicycle logistics in the city of tomorrow.

Conference highlights include:
Introduction to bicycle logistics: Visitors to the IAA TRANSPORTATION will be offered a free introduction to bicycle logistics before the conference begins.
Interactive experiences: Conference participants have the opportunity to visit the IAA trade fair and experience the IAA Cargobike course, where various cargo bikes can be tried out.
CABOTY Award: The “International Cargobike of the Year Award” (CABOTY) will be presented at the IAA TRANSPORTATION on September 19th.Registration is possible via the following LINK .
The conference is organized by cargobike.jetzt GmbH, with the German Bicycle Logistics Association as patron. All players in the bicycle logistics industry, interested companies and representatives from politics and science are invited.
