YES SECURITIES LAUNCHES THE OFFICIAL KIT FOR THE UPCOMING CYCLOTHON

The countdown to the Mumbai’s first major cycling event has officially begun, and YES Securities has just infused a massive dose of energy by launching the highly anticipated official kit for the upcoming cyclothon scheduled for 9th November 2025. Unveiled at a vibrant event held at YES Bank House in Mumbai, the gathering witnessed the launch of the new cycling jersey, featuring a dynamic design and performance-focused features, along with a glorious medal and a memorable certificate.

Highlights from the launch event:

The event organisers welcomed the cycling community on 19th October, Sunday morning at 8am with a coffee and networking session. It was followed by a panel discussion on “The Balancing Act: Life, Health and Work” featuring Mr. Anshul Arzare, MD & CEO of YES Securities, with distinguished guest speakers – Radio Jockey Rani from Big Fm and Subhashini Visweswaran, Regional Manager – Business Development (West & North – Sports & Alliances) Fast & Up. The discussion was moderated by the event director Anil Uchil and graced by Praful Uchil, co-founder of Striders miles sports events company.

The panelist reflected on their personal cycling experiences in the city and various challenges that need to be addresed through active urban mobility and infrastructure advocacy. Cyclothon’s directly encourages thousands of Mumbaikars to adopt cycling, promoting a fitness-focused lifestyle in a city challenged by sedentary routines. It is an opportunity to release stress, network and an occasion where fitness enthusiasts, get inspired and become a part of a community and take a pause from the city’s constant urban pressures and work culture. Cyclothons offer a platform for new riders to engage and learn from senior riders and exchange knowledge. Such interactions have the potential to bring significant changes in urban lifestyle and transform people from being passive observers to active contributors.

After concluding the panel discussion, the guest unveiled the official kit which in quick time became the highlight of the ceremony as cyclists gathered around it in anticipation of owning it on the BIB collection day.

Bicycle Mayors from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region acknowledged YES Securities for this initiative which will help to grow the cycling culture in the city, and gave suggestions on how corporate participation can develop a healthier and sustainable habit amongst employees through small changes such as Cycle To Work Friday’s supported by bicycle parking stands in office building, shower facilities, locker rooms, cycle to work incentive scheme etc. The response from the MD of YES Securities is positive and he expressed his openness to take suggestions and feedback for a better future.

Towards the penultimate moments, everyone came together to deliver a message on road safety and the need for the drivers to maintain safe passing distance when overtaking a cyclist. By embracing patience and mutual respect for cyclist, cities like Mumbai and many others can transition from being a battleground of conflicts, to safe, shared public spaces. With a collective and responsible behaviour, we can #SaveTheCyclist and make every commute safe.

The event concluded with a photo ceremony and breakfast.
