An exhibition to commemorate 300 years of ST. Thomas Cathedral is organised at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya – CSMVS (Formerly called as Prince of Wales Museum). Marking the Tercentenary celebrations of ‘The Living Cathedral’, a month long exhibition digs into the archives of the cathedral and brings out the lesser know artefacts to the people. ST. THOMAS CATHEDRAL: 300 YEARS OF CHRISTMAS

The island city of Mumbai (previously called as Bombay) has over hundred churches safeguarding the strong religious culture and history of our society. Some churches were raised during the Portuguese era between sixteenth and seventeenth century. And when the Britishers took over from the Portuguese in the later half of seventeenth century, a number of churches were commissioned during their rule. With an increasing english speaking population in the city, the need to have a place of worship was felt by the rulers. Camp Nou is the largest football stadium in Europe with a seating of 99,354. ‘Camp Nou’ used by the Catalan people means ‘New Field’ in English. The home stadium of FC Barcelona club was inaugurated in 1957. Originally the stadium was named ‘Estadi del FC Barcelona’ but later changed to ‘Camp Nou’ through a fan poll. GARDENS OF VERSAILLES, PARIS

The Palace of Versailles in Paris is a symbol of beauty, elegance and luxury. Situated to the west of the Palace are the Gardens of Versailles (Chateau De Versailles in french).

SELFIE WITH MONA LISA AT LOUVRE MUSEUM, PARIS

During our visit to Paris in 2017, we went to the Louvre Museum to take a selfie with Mona Lisa!

On an official trip to Paris, a group of seven of us sat together during morning breakfast and planned an itinerary on how we should spend our free day.  It was a three day trip and we had limited time at our disposal. ‘Louvre Museum’ was the unanimous choice and we thought of covering it by lunch. SEINE RIVER BOAT RIDE, PARIS

On our official trip to Paris in may 2017, I along with a group of six other colleagues decided to take a boat ride on the seine river. This was our first visit to the Eiffel Tower or ‘Tour Eiffel’ in french. Named after Gustave Eiffel, the wrought iron lattice tower is on the Champs de Mars, Paris. It was 6th June 2018 and we had to reach ‘EatSleepCycle’ a bicycle touring and rental company located in Carrer del Vern Girona, Spain. Me and two friends had booked three road bikes and a GPS device to ride towards the beaches of Costa Brava.
