In a quaint street of Karvenagar, Pune, stands a three storey structure housing a bicycle museum. The Vikram Pendse Cycle Museum came into being on May 2017 and displays a huge personal collection of cycles, acquired and restored by the owner Vikram Pendse and brought to life by his friend Pandurang Gaikwad. Victoria and Albert Museum was commissioned in 1855 as a treasure house for decorative’s and industrial arts. The oldest museum of Mumbai located in Byculla was renamed as Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum in 1972 to honor Dr. Bhau Daji Lad (1824-74, an Indian physician and scholar).

The Keneseth Eliyahoo Synagogue is the oldest sephardic synagogue in the city (Sephardi or Sephardic are Jewish ethnic group originally from Sepaharad, Spain.)

The island city of Mumbai (previously called as Bombay) has over hundred churches safeguarding the strong religious culture and history of our society. Some churches were raised during the Portuguese era between sixteenth and seventeenth century. And when the Britishers took over from the Portuguese in the later half of seventeenth century, a number of churches were commissioned during their rule. With an increasing english speaking population in the city, the need to have a place of worship was felt by the rulers. This lead to the commissioning of Saint Thomas Cathedral at Fort, Mumbai.
