GIANT RIDING CLUB 2024 SEASON CONCLUDES ON A POSITIVE NOTE

The Last ride of the Giant Riding Club of 2024 season culminated in a grand cycling expedition to the majestic Asiatic Library in Mumbai on 31st March 2024, attracting over 100 enthusiastic cyclists.

The sixth and final Giant ride, aimed at promoting fitness and a love for cycling, witnessed participants of all ages and experience levels come together for a memorable journey.

Team Giant worked relentlessly to provide an outstanding cycling experience to cyclists all over India. Aimed at building a strong community of cyclists, Giant Riding Club (GRC) is fostering cycling at the grassroot level.

The 40km route for the final ride was carefully curated to provide a scenic and enjoyable experience for the cyclists. Starting from Giant Store Khar, the ride moved through the vibrant streets of Mumbai, offering glimpses of the city’s rich heritage and bustling life.

“Cycling is an amazing hobby as it keeps you moving, provides fitness, and can be a fun experience. Thanks to this physical activity, as we are masters of our own pleasure and happiness. Most importantly, it’s good for our mental health. Cycling is a unique experience that allows us to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life as we explore new places. It gives us motivation, positive vibes while riding. Today, was a pleasant day as I set off for the final GRC Ride of 2024 in Mumbai and, I am glad to be a part of this growing community.”

As we cycled towards the Asiatic Library, participants were treated to stunning views of heritage buildings, making the ride even more captivating. The weather was slightly humid and with the arrival of Summer it was a warm and sunny day in Mumbai as expected.

Upon reaching the Asiatic Library, cyclists were greeted with a sense of accomplishment and camaraderie. The magnificent library building, a treasure trove of knowledge and history, served as a perfect backdrop for group photos and well-deserved refreshments.

The last ride of the Giant Riding Club of 2024 to the Asiatic Library proved to be a resounding success, fostering a love for cycling and a sense of community among participants. With over 100 cyclists joining the ride, it served as a testament to the growing popularity of cycling in Mumbai and beyond.

Every cyclist whose been a part of GRC is an ambassador of change and will help in spreading a good word about cycling in India. In a decades time, I forsee the car culture to decline as people become more health and climate conscious. Together We Roll

Giant, if it wasn’t you, I wouldn’t be here,
You are my anxiety relief, you are a medicine for my soul,
Deep inside my heart, I have feelings which I never told,
Under your shadow I have grown strong,
I am delighted to share this inseperable bond,
Like a glue – Giant you hold us together.

In my pain, I recall you, in my gain I celebrate with you,
Together we have conquered our fears,
The feeling of being alone is vanished in your comfort,
Never-ever I have felt so confident,
You are my wings to fly, with Giant I am dynamite of energy,
In tears and joy, Giant you hold us together.

I am afraid that the Giant Riding Club 2024 season is over,
It is disheartening to step apart, to sustain this pause,
I will remember the merrier times that we spent together,
The morning sunrise that we chased with a pedal stroke,

In hope and desire, I let you go,
Only with a promise of a new beginning,
A moment of happiness will arise again,
When we shall pedal under the open skies,
Passing through the countryside, lakes, and rivers,
And listening to the melody of birds,
In nature, I will find the symphony of Giant cycle rides once again!
