Indore, the heart of Madhya Pradesh, pulsates with energy and a vibrant spirit. But what if you could experience this city beyond the bustling streets and honking horns? Imagine gliding through historical lanes, weaving past bustling markets, and discovering hidden gems, all while getting a healthy dose of exercise. This is the magic of cycling in Indore, and thanks to MYBYK, it’s easier than ever.
Watch this video which captures the beauty of Indore city on a sustainable transport:
Change in Itinerary:
First of all, I was supposed to visit Indore on 26th January 2024 but my flight was cancelled by the airlines without prior intimation and I had to return back home from the airport to fly on the next day. So, a day was wasted, and I had to replan my itinerary. This led to cutting down places that I wanted to see. Nevertheless, I explored Indore on a ‘MYBYK’ which is a popular public bicycle sharing company in India. MYBYK has a dense network of bicycle stations in Indore from where anyone can rent a bicycle.

MYBYK pick up from Indore Airport:
Typically, when passengers arrive at an airport, their private cars come to pick them up. Some passengers use a taxi, bus, or auto service to travel home or to their hotels. However, in my case, I had a MYBYK right outside the airport waiting for me to ride to the hotel. Thanks to MYBYK founder Arjit Soni for arranging a bicycle for me. This is the 2nd time I took a bicycle from the airport and rode to the hotel. The first time I did this was during my trip to Ahmedabad last year. I also want to thank Ankit Singh the in charge of MYBYK operations in Indore city for his time and great company.

Unveiling Indore’s Hidden Depths:
Forget the crowded buses and auto-rickshaws. With a MYBYK, you unlock the freedom to explore Indore at your own pace and I did exactly that. Pedal down the heritage-rich Rajwada Palace complex, feeling the weight of history under your wheels. I explored the busy streets and markets of the city. Ventured into the wildlife by visiting the city zoo. Took a detour to the bustling Sarafa Bazaar in the night, experiencing the colorful chaos of the famous food street. MYBYK’s extensive network of hubs ensures you’re never far from a convenient drop-off point, allowing you to explore diverse neighborhoods without worrying about logistics.

Cycling for Fitness and Fun:
Indore’s topography offers something for everyone. I was happy to experience and promote cycle tourism in the cleanest city of India using a bicycle – the most clean and green transport ever. I could unleash the potential of a bicycle and navigate through the city traffic and stop wherever I wanted to. With MYBYK’s diverse fleet, and several bicycle rental stations, it caters to various fitness levels, and commute opportunities for citizens making cycling accessible to all.

Beyond the Commute:
MYBYK isn’t just for weekend adventures. Ditch the crowded buses and use it for your daily commute. Imagine cycling to work, arriving energized and ready to tackle the day. Not only do you save time and money, but you also contribute to a cleaner and greener Indore. I saw many people using a MYBYK on the streets of Indore. In fact, MYBYK stations are also available and easily accessible at the Indore Zoo, and I appreciate this idea as walking inside a big zoo can be tiring for some tourists.

Indore on a MYBYK is more than just cycling; it’s an experience.
It’s about discovering the city’s soul, connecting with history, and contributing to a healthier, more sustainable future. So, grab your helmet, hop on a MYBYK, and embark on your own two-wheeled adventure in the vibrant heart of Madhya Pradesh.

Joining the MYBYK Movement:
Using MYBYK is simple and convenient. Download the app, choose your plan, and locate the nearest hub. With various subscription options, you can find one that fits your needs and budget. Plus, their user-friendly app makes unlocking and returning bikes a breeze.
Cycling is not just a mode of transportation; it’s a way of life. So, get on a MYBYK, explore Indore, and discover the magic of this city on two wheels!
