Fine brush strokes with multi colored artistic effects. Shades overlapping and cutting through. Grey, black, ash, purple, blue, majenta, voilet, pink, orange, yellow…and many more complexly interwoven hues. Delicately adjusted color tones complimentary to one another. Fresh color tints and I was gradually hypnotized. It was all happening; little breezy, low tide, moving clouds – blink and a new picturesque scenery is ready to view.

On the busy streets of Mumbai there is a section of people who use bicycles as a primary mode of transport. In fact, they are independent transporters who move goods around the city on a bicycle. You will easily spot them bearing all kind of loads dressed in simple clothing throughout the day. Majority of those cyclists are men who operate wearing a shirt, trouser, shorts and slippers.

Victoria and Albert Museum was commissioned in 1855 as a treasure house for decorative’s and industrial arts. The oldest museum of Mumbai located in Byculla was renamed as Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum in 1972 to honor Dr. Bhau Daji Lad (1824-74, an Indian physician and scholar).

CYCLING IN AAREY

The Aarey trail is one of the best place to cycle in the city of Mumbai. The tiny village is often called as ‘Aarey Milk Colony’. Milk plants with innumerable cattle’s grazing in the open fields has given a natural identity to this place. The area has a dense green cover and makes it one of the most preferred places for morning activities; identical to Sanjay Gandhi National Park. A popular choice for fitness enthusiast and nature lovers, Aarey also attracts visitors because of Filmcity and Chota Kashmir (Chota means small).

The Keneseth Eliyahoo Synagogue is an Orthodox Jewish synagogue located in Forbes Street (renamed as V.B. Gandhi Marg) behind Kala Ghoda square in Fort, Mumbai. The Keneseth Eliyahoo Synagogue is the oldest sephardic synagogue in the city (Sephardi or Sephardic are Jewish ethnic group originally from Sepaharad, Spain.)

On a winter evening of December 2018, i visited a place called ‘Me Time Art Cafe’ located at Bandra. 

My craving for a ‘Coffee’ in a chilling weather and the word ‘Art’ finely inscribed on the signboard were enticing reasons to get drawn inside the venue.
