I reached out to them through an online poll to get a measured response to broaden our perspective on the topic we are trying to decode. A poll conducted on twitter revealed that 77% of cyclist were chased by a dog during their life time while 3% were chased by an animal other than dogs. Dogs and Humans have been friends from many centuries. Unlike any other animal, humans are more comfortable to share love, space, food and even toys with dogs. In urban cities, people adopt dogs and offer free shelter despite high real estate cost. Some dogs are fortunate to enjoy facilities like open spaces and gardens in the backyard of farm houses in the country sides. One day when I was commuting back home from a meeting late afternoon a dog appeared from no where and came charging at me aggressively. I stopped pedaling to slow down but the stray kept his momentum. I got off the bike in a hurry as a precautionary measure otherwise I would have landed at a nearby dispensary for sure.
