Pedal and Tring Tring is now 100% Ad-Free
Why I made this decision and how you can support my work.
Pedal and Tring Tring marks 8 years of being one of the leading voices for cycling in India and bringing international content to our readers. Despite several proactive initiatives and investments to create new stories in the form of articles, video content, and micro-blogs on social media, the niche of cycling remains challenging when it comes to monetisation. Hence, I decided to put the readers’ interest front and centre by making this website 100% ad-free and stepping away from traditional ad monetisation programs.
Readers directly benefit from a seamless browsing experience and access to a large collection of stories painstakingly collected, edited, and archived in this digital library over the years. This vital information will continue to serve researchers, students, journalists, advocacy groups, brands, and everyday cyclists working towards sustainable mobility.
I remain fully committed to investing time and resources into advancing this initiative. However, to keep up the momentum of promoting active mobility, this new ad-free approach relies on a Reader-Supported Model. Every contribution directly enables me to run this platform, conduct field research, shoot video documentaries, and advocate for climate-resilient cities.
