ZADD bikes, a Chandigarh based start-up has launched its first electric cargo bicycle in India. Named ‘Utility Hauler’ the electric bicycle is designed for last mile delivery and has wide use cases. The start-up is owned by two young entrepreneurs Aniket Bharadwaj and Shubham Goyal.

ZADD Utility Hauler comes with a long-tail Alloy frame, dual disc brakes, 250W BLDC hub motor, LCD display, front and backlights. The ebike comes with removable Li-ion battery. With 7.8Ah battery you can ride up to a distance of 40kms and range with 15Ah battery is 80kms. If you use two 15Ah batteries, you get a range of up to 160kms. 3A charger is provided for fast charging in 3hrs. The front basket comes along with the ebike and can carry a load of 7kgs. You can install a rear basket which will allow you to carry a load between 25-30kgs.
The ZADD ebike has 5 pedal assist modes and a throttle mode incase you are tired and don’t want to pedal. The bike has 20inch wheels with nylon tires and can carry a rider weight of 100 kgs. The weight of the ZADD Utility Hauler is 25kgs and comes with a front fork suspension. The electronic components used in the ZADD bike are ip67 certified and water proof. Front and rear mudguards help you protect from dust and water splash. The bike is 95% assembled and ready to use with minor installation and fixes. The company claims people between 5 feet and 6 feet can ride this ebike.

ZADD Utility Hauler is available in three colors – lime green, lavender and ice blue. The frame is unique and has internal cabling. You can attach panniers, basket child seat or a trailer on the rear side. Leather finish comfortable saddle gives a premium look.
