GEAR UP FOR THE MUMBAI INTERNATIONAL BIKE FAIR (MIBF)

The Mumbai International Bike Fair (MIBF) will be a high-end, B2B/B2C crossover event focusing on the core values of sustainability, design, and innovation. It is scheduled to be held from the 18th to the 20th of November 2022 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai. The expo will also be open to the B2C segment to provide knowledge and increase awareness about cycling as part of urban mobility, safe cycling infrastructure, the latest products, and services in the industry, and much more. The event intends at bringing together the whole sector under one roof for networking, meeting new dealers and consumers, and observing the newest trends and innovations.

THE SOUL OF A CYCLIST

In 2020, I joined a vintage bicycle club on facebook. In 2021, I acquired a 50-year-old pre-owned classic BSA roadster and got it reconditioned. And in 2022, I saw a documentary film on classic bicycles titled – THE SOUL OF A CYCLIST. What’s next in 2023? I don’t have the answer, nor I can predict; but now, I can certainly share my views about the documentary film I watched.

CYCLE MUSEUM IN PUNE

Vikram Pendse Cycle Museum in Pune is a time travel to history of bicycles with an elaborate display of handpicked collection making it an ideal place to visit for every passionate vintage artefacts lover.

In a quaint street of Karvenagar, Pune, stands a three storey structure housing a bicycle museum. The Vikram Pendse Cycle Museum came into being on May 2017 and displays a huge personal collection of cycles, acquired and restored by the owner Vikram Pendse and brought to life by his friend Pandurang Gaikwad.
